Well, the game in general needs big investment in order to survive & even more money to thrive. Perhaps we should be offering laundry facilities to the mafia & set a club up in Sicily .
In short, anybody offering money should be welcomed by the game.

Well certainly not from those not prepared to invest in youth development

He wanted to spend in line with the salary cap,so had to cut elsewhere, hence the noise atm to increase the cap.

Other Super League clubs don't appear to want to cut their academies. Most odd when you consider that championship sides London and Newcastle run academies.

Of course it's important to run an academy but, SL status is also important. London and Newcastle are unlikely to get in the play offs. London might probably do it. It's a dilemma that both Koucash & Beaumont faced at that time in 2016,and put SL first,and that didn't even pay off for Leigh. The salary cap needs to be increased imo.

Given the list of shysters and conmen who took the helm at Bradford for the previous years, Marwan was probably overqualified
