I think the point you are missing is that 90% of teams are at it (your mighty lot included). Why single out Wakefield? All the teams chairmen need to get their heads together and do what is right for the greater good (ie a better England team).

IMO it is not just reserve grade players that clog up our game. The older end NRL players need looking at also in my opinion. There are not many teams about that dont have overseas players in that they could do without in favour of a homegrown player. I think that only top line, in their prime overseas stars should be brought in full stop. In Wakefields defence a couple of years ago we gave chances to the likes of Blaymire, Fox, Golden, Moore and Bibey when they were written off or in the lower leagues. On here one Hudds fan said it would not work. Most of them are now are SL regulars. Without their chance that Wakey gave them most of these would still be in the lower leagues IMO.
