SKY are showing the game which is probably why they have moved it. Eddie and Stevo can't get from the North of England after the game on Friday night to the South of France. Not a lot of flights go that way on a late Friday night. Thery cannot fly out till Saturday morning. For them to get there in time to get booked into a hotel, get along to the ground, prepare themselves before kick off is nigh on impossible by 7pm hence Quins get booted to Sunday and to hell with the consequence. However all supporters of all teams need to realise this is not going to be a one off it will occur maybe two or three times a season and SKY will not commit to which ones, it will depend on current form of a team. It could be your club next, we are first and there will be another one later in the season who knows who it will be. Next season probably three or four. So get signing

To all 3 of them Craig I’m extremely surprised you have decided to allow Sky to move a Catalan game by 24 hours. Most who travel to France return on the Sun morning for Work on the Mon. Equally how often do Sky televise games on a Sun. I’ve lost 2 flights as I’m unwilling to pay double the original price for a flight change. I’m sure you will pass on your apologies and tell me Sky have it written in there contract that they can change matches 4 weeks before, but surely you must retain some influence on the management of the game. Have just been informally advised that Quins RL fans could well have a 'case' to take to the High Court. It could br for 'losses incurred', or a request for a 'judicial review' and even for the , often overused, 'human rights'.



However, it should be noted that any actions of this type are always costly all round and the only end winners are the lawyers!!

Plus what that nutjob says happened didn't. The round 2 fixture was moved in October last year, before the fixture list had even been released. At the time Quins agreed with the RFL/SL to reschedule the round 2 fixture the opponent, date and even venue (home/away) hadn't actually been made public, which makes it rather hard for anyone to claim that they'd already made plans to travel to it.

After the riots we had in our last clash with our local rivals I'm suprised that quniz fans are allowed back to Perpignan. Maybe that's the reason for the fixture change.

Fully suppport your petition guys. I have been to 3 of the previous Wire games in Perpignan and would have been gutted if the match had been delayed by a day or so. It is a trip my family look forward to and having the match put back would cause all sort of problems especially if the return flight is on the Sunday.



Catalan schedule their matches for Sat nights so everyone knows when they are playing in good time to plan any trips. Why on earth the RFL couldn't rearrange another game to suit Sky is beyond me

it's a fact of life, we jumped into bed with sky c/o uncle mo, you should expect no less, there's probably a table tennis final they want to cover on the sat night, it's pooh however they will continue to do it despite our complaints

A message to those of you who are posting 'negative' viewpoints.



Let's presume you go to Perpignan and are in the 91% who book their travel 2 months or more prior to 'gameday' and your hit in the future by SkySports late change everyone of you would have had to either re-arrange your travel - average additional cost around £150.00 perhead plus the £60-£120 perhead already spent etc etc - or lose the cost allready paid.





So you will have been well stuffed as Sky only gave 48 days notice of the changed.i.e. about 7 weeks. In addition those of you who 'book' travel to Perpignan at the last minute seemingly have 'money' to burn.



Suggest that those posters who are 'critical' need to think a bit harder. This is not the cost of 'short' bus/train local ticket & match day ticket but a 'major'

outing - often involving the whole family & thus many hundreds of hard earned cash.



So, hopefully we will see less 'carping' and more votes & positive support
