Rubbish , ours was built off the back of a fag packet , I kid you not

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Fag packet you say? not the strongest foundation material
Problem? who said there was a problem, building a stadium is a long drwn out process, especially when you dont have a co-operative local council. Cas have anounced that they are choosing the design team, when they are chosen the final plans can be drawn up, then building work can begin.

HBOS was one of the being mortgage players in the UK before the housing market crash and global recession because of the unbundling of these rolled up debt bonds.
Now none of these proposed stadiums have been built because of the recession yet Halifax RFLC are working on their stadium in line for a bid in 2011.
Do you think HBOS caused the global recession to get Fax into Superleague?
You heard it here first.....
Alternatively - why do you think none of these stadia have been built? Funding difficulties? Property price crash? Global recession? Take your pick.
Brilliant! That's the best conspiracy theory I've ever heard.
....or maybe it's just that Calderdale Council have earmarked 4.5 million quid to finish the stadium at last.
To be fair to us though we have always suffered before of geographical reasons i.e. fans find Hull as a city a long trek so we get few away fans coming here compared to what we take away. Leeds at our place this season was the most shocking, e.g. reckon only 500 max, but I bet they took/bring treble that to yours?
