Oh yes, I forgot refs were beyond criticism. It just so happens Rovers have been down the "proper" channels previously regarding this ref and nothing was done about it.

This has been discussed to death, so let's leave it.

Like you lot could ever leave anything!

He was out of order, he isn't bigger than the game. He got what he deserved and you lot would do well to just live with it instead of copying your gaffers hypocritical, crybaby antics.

er.....easy on. I don't recall our coach ever being anything other than honest and upfront. Yes, it's nice the Brown is big enough to admit when his team play badly, but let's face it....it's not brain surgery is it. You get spanked at Home by the team second from bottom and you put it down to your teams errors....it's not like Salford actually played well now is it 8)

From RLE:

"We're not going as well as we'd like but the opposition only made two errors and they scrambled really well so you have to give them credit."

A snippet of What Brown had to say regarding the Salford match.

I think we should all just stop the bickering and accept that Brown is clearly the most wonderful guy on the planet. Magnanimous, self-deprecating, pure of thought and deed and truly an inspiration for us all.

A shoe-in for the next pope if you ask me. :D

in the words of the great Mr Brown Himself
“But this performance against Salford shows what I know!" 8)

That is in reference to him hoping we'd turned the corner performance wise with the victory against Celtic.

ATEOTD we were sh*t against Salford so it's not a big surprise if he says we were. Salford were also good and he has said that as well. I don't see what the big deal is TBH. He's not blamed anyone but ourselves for getting beat, and that's the one thing he can control. He can't control the ref or the opposition.

Another Honest and upfront SL coach
"Kear admitted Quins had been the "better team" – and he said Wildcats have some hard work ahead.

He added: "They performed the most consistently over the 80 minutes".

Unlike some posters suggestions on here the reason behind posting the topic was that from a Giants poit of view it is quiterefreshing to have our coach actually tell it like it is and for him to be actually in tune with what the fans think.

i find it interesting on other boards where the fans ofetn wonder where their coach is coming from.

Brwon said on sunday what the fans said.

'we where poop and salford played well.'

that i so refreshing it certainly beats
we are getting closer, we just need the rub of the green, their are signs of definite improvement or it was the refs fault.

Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????
