Why you so worried about quins? at least we're in the top 5, got home grown players throughout the squad, got a good stadium. Id worry about celtic and salford if i were you. By far the weakest franchises in SL.

as a born and bred northerner who has moved down south in the last 9 months and got involved mainly with the skolars it greatly annoys me to see fellow northerners back home slagging off league in london.
admittedly the attendances are a great worry and things do need to be done to improve them (and greater minds than moi will hopefully solve them) but having quins in SL is a no brainer for me to spread the word of this game. same with the skolars, who's on the pitch form is a worry at the moment, but whos work in the community needs to be lauded. there is a massive potential player pool just here in north london and it is being tapped into, but its not an overnight thing.
i just think a few more fellow northerners need to broaden some horizons and take a look at what many are doing for the greatest game down here. come down with your team, watch them against quins or skolars, and help support spreading the greatest game to one and all.
As someone who has spent the last 5 years living outside the sports heartlands, first in the north east and now down here, i'm a firm believer of spreading the gospel of league far and wide and those doing that job in non-heartland places have my upmost respect. lets support them rather than snyping. a game played solely on the m62 corridor is not good!

Because the people responding are the same as always and its been frankly done to death.

Lister & Gutterfax both have their own axes to grind and the other (predictable) comments are from people who will never acknowledge anything good about Quins or the game outside of the heartlands.

:) They seem to putting a decent team together on the pitch but their downfall has been their utter inconsistancy. If they get that sorted then there is no reason why they can't get 5000+ regularly, why not?

Indeed. I think this is another forgotten factor, we've been disappointing and not really doing much to encourage people to come back (the thrashing at the hands of Cas at home springs to mind) - a decent, half successful side and people will want to start returning to watch top class RL. We've been playing a more exciting brand of rugby on occasions - albeit not regularly.
