My daughter plays for Holy Cross, Chorley, (yr 8.) who drew the National year 7 final last year with Castleford. We were unbeaten this year in these finals, playing Settle, West Lakes, South Leeds, and Coventry to qualify for the semi final. This was against St John Fishers, and was a cracker - won 8-0 so I'll again be at Wembley this year with her (and hopefully Salford too!). The other qualifying semi saw Settle, who finished 2nd in our group, beat Castleford which was a huge shock. So, Settle versus Holy Cross final: bring it on!
It was a cracking afternoon of girls rugby, and I'd highly recommend attending the finals day at RAF Uxbridge the Friday before the challenge cup final.
Many congratulations. Beating Cas High in girls' rugby is no mean feat at any age, so Settle must be a decent side. The final should be a cracker. Maybe next year we'll be there with you !

Good luck Holy Cross. Most of one side of my family went/go there.
Great story however it is unfortunate that the RLfans admin are not so fantastic in any other sense.
The admin team are basically full of the type of chaps who were bullied at school and enjoy exercising their apparent right to 'behind the scenes' bullying and insults of posters they dont like the opinions of. They refuse to explain any of their actions and refuse to provide an explanation when asked for. A reluctance to answer any emails and a clique full of fascists in all honesty.
Roy, you must be in the fortunate position of being in the 'clique', hence your positive situation. However, lets not paint this site as being anymore than the Nazi cesspit that it really is, providing the pi$$ed with power little people with their opportunity to believe they actually mean something.

its Ciao, not Chow.
Either way, its our place and we'll do what we want here, in the way we want, if you aren't happy there are a whole host of other RL web forums and you are quite welcome to go to them any time you like afaic.
We've been here 10 years it's not like we were born yesterday.
We'll be looking to pump more money into grass roots next season and beyond, its the way forward for us, but sadly some people won't be coming with us on the journey.
