I'm completely against wingers getting MoS, call me old fashioned but he's only scored so many tries by the hard work done by the forwards and the creativity or the halves and O'Loughlin.
Morley or O'Loughlin for MoS Watts or Houghto Maguire or Smith

Without turning this into another Hull FC v Hull KR borefest IMO only Tony Smith could be ahead of Agar in that list. Agar, despite only having his 2 half-backs playing together once or twice in the full season, has taken the team who finished 12th last year to having a realistic chance of been in the top 4. The alternative coaches who might be deemed 'better' coaches (Bluey, Brown, Morgan) have taken their teams from 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively to (atm) 5th, 6th and 7th.

Ben Harrison and Joel Tomkins are 23 so we may as well give the young player of the year to Steve Menzies if they are being considered. Even Sam Tomkins at 21 is a bit old for this award.
There are a lot of candidates for the young player of the year Liam Farrell at Wigan, Tom Briscoe at Hull, Clarkson at Leeds, Donaldson and Whitehead at Bradford, Dixon, Lomax and Foster at St.Helens.
Out of all these players you would have to say Briscoe is the player that has performed week in week out.
I think that Maguire has a good shot at being coach of the year. The fact that there is no stand out candidate for MOS at Wigan shows how well they have played as a team.
MOS is very open. I think that the likely winner will come from Warrington or Wigan. Michael Monaghan or Matt King would be good bets. Sam Tomkins is a much more worthy winner than Richards. The award should really go to a great rugby player than a goal kicker.
