There's the damn problem.
Parra have let so many kids slip through their fingers that end up biting them on the bum later on.
Parra found Lockyer first, didn't get him, YowYee at the Broncos was cut because someone said he wouldn't make first grade.
We've now let one of the Keating boys head to the dogs, Mateo to the Warriors, Gallen to the sharks.
Blah blah blah.
Time I think Parramatta looked at who is responsible for identifying the talent in the junior ranks, cause obviously the person doing it has SFA knowledge of up n coming players.

Why can't parra get a third party sponsor in on the deal?

because they are not in Brisbane! For some reason Sydney clubs struggle to get companies to back players. Recent media article showed Brisbane have 20 players receiving 3rd party deals. Most other clubs have zero or one.

NRL's said they won't contribute. Unless Parra can get a good 3rd party sponsor and use up all their marque player allowance on him can't see them affording him.
