Wigan have of late, a reputation for ruining careers whereas Wire are reviving them.

In Mathers' case it has a lot to do with the coach at Wire now I think.

For all the calling of Fielden, I bet he's still one of
the highest paid players in the game. So he wont be to bothered.

I bet if Leeds or St Helens snapped up on a cheap contract the player would improve under a better organised club with a winning mentality.

Yes he will. He is a professional sportsman who would probably give anything if he recapture the form of a few years ago.
