What a nice lad he came across as aswell, totally down to earth, working class, not afraid to get his hands dirty, happy in his skin. And what do we get on here? Hand wringing because we're worried that it gives Rugby League a bad image. Pathetic. Rugby League should be proud of it's roots and proud of lads like this.
I agree 100%. Don't we get enough propaganda and spin from our politicians. I think some on here would be a lot happier if they had searched around for a player who rides with the local hunt or is a showjumper. This is Rugby League FFS not Union.
The North of England is where the sport was born and, before anyone jumps in, I'm not saying it should stay there but all he is doing is taking part in traditional country pursuits. He also has a regional accent as, just guessing here, he probably didn't attend Eton.

The interview was awful.
Think you will find it is a mix of all fans.

I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.
As a southerner it never occurred to me watching last night that this was bad for the game. We had McCarthy- Scarsbrook and Clubb going to the dogs the week before. Get a life!
Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.

Exactly! Londoners are proud to be Londoners, the Welsh are proud to be Welsh (god knows why ) and Scots are proud to be Scottish so why are some people so ashamed to be portrayed as Northerners?

George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."
