Went to this. Vossy got a mixed reception and didn't dare look at the audience once. Matty Johns juggled water bottles in the break and dropped them after about three seconds.
Percy Le Blanc seems to have fizzled out a bit, but at least they didn't continue down the Alzheimer's route they seemed to be on a few weeks ago.
The whole programme appears to be fizzling out unfortunately. It's lost a lot of it's fun factor with some of the older names going and bringing in the more serious Andrew Voss.

Only time it is mentioned is when a player is rumoured to be leaving to go to it. They don't even talk about Footy outside of teh NRL let alone outside the country.
We have an Aboriginal RL show called the barefoot Footy Show, it is ten times better and covers RL, the players and smaller clubs and leagues. If you get chance have a watch, its not as polished as the Footy show but for a RL fan it is miles better.
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

The network seem to have been boxed into a corner, with the sponsors of the show and TV Execs wanting it toned down.
Fatty's recently talked about going back to match commentary from what I've read. He's fed up with all the changes they've made to the format, which I think was why Paul 'Chief' Harrogan sacked it off at the end of the last series.

That will just kill The Footy Show off completely, unless they get Fenech back to take the michael out of.

Yep, Johns stood down indefinitely and you can't blame Nine for that.
Well Andrew Voss this season is quite funny. I can't believe there is so little talent you can't find others to fill a vacancy and give a League-focused light entertainment program. You don't have to have ex players. I bet there are some comedians/presenters who'd give the right arm for that gig. Maybe get a decent female presenter in to make it more appealing to women.
Goonland 2006/2007/2008?: Trophy-free zone - Only the sound of two banjos playing in the background and some bloke chewing gum.
