If you are going to crown someone fittest you need to include a range of things not just 100m
I would for example beat any Rugby League player by a mile at any distance over a mile and up to a marathon , I am a county standard runner BUT they would beat mean over 100 and at dips etc
A fitness test needs to include a sprint, a long distance race, some strength work etc
I think Superstars did have an 800m or 1500m by memory but its not long enough as a fitness test

Its a rumour that David Beckham actually completed the bleep test - don't know if thats true or if anyone else has ever done that. I know he's the ultmate soccer pansy but the Milan coach thinks he's in such good physcial condition that he could carry on playing top flight footie until he's 40.
