I agree, my point though is that any signing is a risk, no matter how good they are, and with Carmont, he has proved over the last few years that he is reliable solid, classy and rarely makes mistakes, with a new signing these things arent guarenteed so id be hesistant to take the risk, il take Inglis though and stick him on the other side

I wouldnt swap Carroll for Rooney either
Yes, id definately swap those 2, im not a massive McIlorum fan if im honest, his distribution is poor at times and he lacks intelligence, I would not post this in the Wigan board though, id be hung by my testicles.

How long before L.Tomkins breaks through? Seen a bit of him at Widnes, looks lively.

Could be next season, all depends on signings really, the debate still goes on about whether Leuluai will go to 9 and we may sign a half back. Id personally prefer Leuluai at 7 and McIlorum alternating with someone (L.Tomkins or a signing) next season.

That was what I was hoping, or a least a few run outs next season as we still have Finch, but from what I hear off regular U20's goers since he's injury he's lost a yard of pace and his kicking game has been very poor.

He is aslo very much a father figure at Wigan, a lot of the young players like Marsh, Charnley look up to him.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
