Things escalating today with Wellens firing shots across the bow. He's criticised the RFL and their officiating and called for them to look up the word consistency in the dictionary.
Saints have also appealed the Morgan Knowles ban. That can only escalate things as well. The RFL cannot overturn another one. They were humiliated before and their position as head of the sport would be untenable if they overturn it again. So they'll have to double down on it, which would in effect be a declaration of war against Saints.
I think it's time to get around a table and discuss this before we end up with an apocalypse.
