It's a sad indictment of the comp that a club can do this in the regular season and it's all with in the rules
Be hilarious if they got creamed and picked up a few short term injuries (nothing serious, just a few weeks). Then we'd see the begging bowl out if they started slipping.

We've lost these kind of games in the past. That isn't going to bother them.

No, but sometimes it can backfire on even the best, especially if you pick up injuries, You're the best team in the comp at present but a lot of that is down to momentum, it's an easy thing to lose and a hard thing to get back. Don't think it will happen in this case but you need to be careful. Despite beating them I personally thought Toulouse were a better team than Leeds and Hull and are not far off a win. They have nothing to lose and they are not short of players who can dole it out, tough little team IMO.

Pulling the kind of stunt that you are trying, you deserve to lose. Unfortunately, in the grand scheme of things, it wont matter. Saints looks comfortably the best side in the comp and one or two losses, wont affect thier league position.
Mind you, it will be a long journey home for your fans who probably expected to see a top Saints side and not a team full of kids

He isn't exactly going to say "we're playing the kids because Toulouse are poop" is he?
But the youngest kids in our team for tomorrows game are Dodd, Welsby and Wingfield all three have played against top opposition. If Wigan are playing poop by good friday are you suggesting we shouldn't play these kids.
The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you. Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Yes. Play as weak a team as possible. Leave out 9 players like we had to in 2019 to give us a chance. You'll probably still win.

But we are probably playing around 12 International players and one state of origin player tomorrow with a couple of kids who have played nearly every game this season against the likes of Catalan and Warrington.
