Warrington played well, especially in the second half, and definitely deserved to win, regardless of stupid Silverdud trying to blow the pea out of his whistle and then getting it wrong.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. (Winston Churchill)

Leeds lacked intensity and Wire were simply miles better - barring a couple of duff calls and some attention grabbing from Silverwood and his young protege Roby, the result was a reasonable reflection of the game.

Tale of two coaches. Smith targetted Leeds' pathetic right-side ,where the two young lads were out of their depth. Brian McD played his usual conservative style, get field position and hope to pick up something on the end of it. In the first half Leeds kept Warrington away from their line for most of the half and the score was kept in check as a result.
I did predict at half-time that Warrington would probably run away with it as they looked like scoring every time they had got near Leeds' line; Leeds lacked any penetration; and it was inevitable that Warrington would get field position at sometime (as Leeds defence was not intense enough). That happened and Warrington ran away with it.
The rigid game plan should have been torn up when Warrington got two tries ahead but the conservative approach persisted until the last few minutes. The plan had ceased to work, the players should have had free rein to play off the cuff before Warrington went so far ahead. Leeds did not give themselves a chance. As I said a tale of two coaches. The positive one won (incidentally that tends to be the pattern in finals in all major sports - the team that goes for it generally wins), the negative one lost.

Disallowed try ............now extensively discussed and considered correct. Hodgson knocked on, play on, Leeds players knocks on, ball is dead, go back to first offence.
Briers knock on ..........Ball was knocked back by Briers, hit the ground and bounced forward. Proven by BBC graphic. Not knock on.
Briers obstructions for Leeds penalty in first half........ initially I thought harsh but in hindsight (and possibly due to fact it didnt affect the result) I now think it was correct.
After having the opportunity to watch the game back, I think that Leeds (tactically and in execution) made more mistakes on Saturday than the officials. I will now go away and wash my mouth out with soapy water !
Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!

At the game, was baffled by every decision, on TV though i actually think all of them are right, well done referees regardless of all the grief they are getting on here.
