Ok. Different question. Why do you think they won't be international class (whatever that means) after not even a full season at first grade and having not watched them in every match of that season?

Stop being paranoid. I've just learned that Wigan have just signed a foreign centre. Had Hull FC just announced the signing of a foreign centre then I would have referred to Hull FC.

Lomax is awesome at 7 and widdop is aweasome at 6 i dont see us having a problem there tbf for the future! Our fringes where bad whenever they got wide they looked like scoring.

From what I have seen, I don't think they look particularly good at Rugby League and won't pose any threat to any Australian side. Is that OK with you?

Obviously I bow to your superior knowledge as you are right, I haven't watched them in every match of the previous season - have you been stalking them all year to make sure you know the ins and outs of everything about them? I look forward to you having absolutely no opinion on any opposition side or player next year seeing as you won't have seen every match of theirs. The forums will be a much better place without your drivel.

i'd be concerned if gaskell is out future england stand off too.. he's nowhere near that standard yet.. lomax on the other hand is an excellent prospect, but i'm not convinced he's a half back either..

widdop too has done very little (in albeit very limited gametime) but for me i don't think he's international class either.. personally i think playing sinfield at halfback is very negative for me, from the squad he picked i'd have gone with widdop and chase at halfback though..

the fact is if a list was compromised of the best half backs in the world.. there's probably about twenty names before you reach either of chase, widdop and sinfield

I said before the tournament that Lomax and Brough should have been selected. People laughed at me.

I don't think you can blame McNamara for selecting Chase; he was fantastic in the Super League but sadly couldn't replicate this in the International calender. Hopefully we'll see him back to his best in future international competitions.

Why? They are two good players. Lomax certainly deserved a shot.

Wasn't Lomax injured for the series?

And Brough's form at the end of the season was bloody awful, if he'd been selected there'd have been outrage on here about picking on form etc.

Sometimes they can't win!
