See, I don't get that argument, are people really going to say -

"That was a cracking match with excitement and skill, but there were empty seats so I'm not gonna watch it again"?

Just doesn't work like that in the real world, some people do far too much hand wringing about full stadia rather than what is on the pitch.

I reckon it is more to do with the fact that 75% of fans are SL season ticket holders and are reluctant to splash out more cash to see CC games. Shame as I love the cup and would rather see my team lift the cup at Wembley than win a GF.

I think the fact that no low league clubs have a chance against Full time clubs is something to do with it.

The final itself though is still a great advertisement for the sport.

But it happens, and they do have a chance though dont they.

When was the last time a team from a lower division in ANY team sport won through to even a semi final?

How often did it happen before Super League?

Cardiff in the FA Cup final and Burnley nearly knocked Spurs out the league cup this year to reach Wembley.
