winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

All that rugby puts hairs on your chest,
what chance have you got against a tie and a crest?

what have the selectors got against hindmarsh. hes a tackling machine, they need at least some experience amoung all of the youth.

they dont think hes playing well but have said if he plays well between now and when the team gets picked he could still make it in

hindy would be in my team if i were a selector

if nsw lose the series they should be dropped.

They've obviously moved on from Hindmarsh and he'll never play above City/Country again, regardless of form. I personally think it's wrong, we should be picking our best players and he is in our top 17. If we somehow win this series, then it will be good to be heading into the future with experieneced youth but it's a massive gamble whilst trying to defend against a record 4th consecutive series loss. I'm definitely not saying I want an old guard forward pack, I just want Hindmarsh, the rest of my picks are from the new breed.

Based on the 40 man squad, my team at the moment...

1. Kurt Gidley
2. Joel Monaghan
3. Matt Cooper
4. Jarryd Hayne
5. Michael Jennings (Josh Morris is out, right?)
6. Terry Campese
7. Peter Wallace
8. Brent Kite
9. Michael Ennis
10. Luke Bailey
11. Anthony Laffranchi
12. Glenn Stewart
13. Paul Gallen

14. Robbie Farah
15. Anthony Tupou
16. Anthony Watmough
17. Michael Weyman

18. Ben Creagh

Still unsure about most of the side really. If I were to go with a 4 forward bench, then i'd put Farah at 9 and Ennis out. Ideally, i'd like to see the QLD 17 before deciding on my bench in particular, but that's not the way it happens.

Well we all agree to get Hindmarsh in the team then!

Stewart out for the first test! though he'd hardly be first choice!
