Didn't he get suspended once for completely losing control of a game which ended up with something like 4 players sent off? Think it may have involved Cronulla.
Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently. Rosa Luxemburg, 'Die russiche Revolution'.

Rugby LEague week reports that a couple of leading NRL referees were talking to the RFL about coming to england but priced themselves out of the market, asking for cars, free rent and return air fare to sydney
so it seems it was more than just shayne hayne talking to the RFL

we don't need NRL refs. Promote the part-timers and they will get better once they are full time and refereeing at the top level (apart from bloody Ian bloody Smith that is...). I remember when Kirkpatrick started in the SL and he was shocking but got a lot better with time. The full-time pay is not great so a lot of part-timers wont want to go full time.
Goonland 2006/2007/2008?: Trophy-free zone - Only the sound of two banjos playing in the background and some bloke chewing gum.
