Having someone in the studio is definitely much better. A couple of times last year when Rea was unavailable they had Clarke on a video link but it seemed very clunky. Still I would rather have that than what we have now.

I only suggested a reporter as they would be able to cope with speaking live on TV. Although then again, Ben Proe still struggles in his interviews. But yes, if there are any former players in or near Middlesex and can do the job then fine.
What we are getting is such an embarrassment to the game that the RFL really should be getting involved and suggesting alternatives.
