your evidence or where you on the NRL/ARL or Reds board at the time?
They were culled to make way for Melbourne, a move that News deemed more profitable and gave the ARL it's pound of flesh it was after. Any surprise that half the Reds set up moved to Melbourne?
re being in debt, tell me which club wasn't that much in debt furing teh war? every club was being bailed by either ARL or News to sign players to way over the odds salaries. Being in debt in the miiddle of a spending war was no indication of how strong teh etam might have been following the peace treaty.
Enjoy your tradition Manly, like Newton, Nth Sydney and the other failures before you it will be all you have left in years to come
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
Amazing Dally, every year when manly won the premiership there has been a number 7 in it .Who know we could be the 7th wonder of the world lol.And to add to that we won 7 premierships ,so yes we're the 7th wonder of the world.

its 7 more than perth have won, or ever will win.
these fans of expansion teams that we have to fund for years thinking they can take away our clubs which are the backbone of RL.

Shame we didn't just leave small suburban clubs to head off back to the NSWRL and let the big boys get on with a world class league that made RL the number one code in the country. Oh well what could have been!
