southern style rule supreme
winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

at least one SL player got the chance to see what playing footy with the best is all about
The english arent gloating, only the kiwi's are gloating as they are the ones that were proven to be the best team in the world, still if your feeble attempts to wind us up makes you feel a little bit better after the defeat i suppose we should humour you.

I have talked to a hell of a lot of Kiwis about the World Cup and not one of them gloated over it.
See, gloating is a very English thing to do.
new Zealand didn't need to gloat over anything, they knew they worked hard and deserved the win in a classic game. What would gloating achieve?
There's never any point in gloating. A team wins, a team loses. Celebrate your victories and lament your defeats. Be gracious to your opposition because if it wasn't for them you wouldn't have a match.

Exactly my point, only the kiwis desreve to gloat (as they are the best team in the world) and they arent gloating as they can win with good grace, the aussies need to learn this from them as well as how to play rugby.

You moron......you won everything we took part in for a quarter of a century. During that time NZ was out closest opponent, and we didnt gloat.
Just because Australians, New Zealanders and Islanders have been telling England its pathetic and needs to save its dead game over there doesnt mean any of us have been gloating.
As I said, gloating is an English thing......everywhere else in the world, winning is common.

You were gloating about a world cup victory before the competition even started, and then like most of your predictions, you were proved to have the rl knowledge of a glass of water
