whats happening now with setanta nrl
winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Three weeks after my contact I'm still waiting for a response from a "5 working days" answer so I've bothered them again with this..
I contacted you with a complaint regarding me signing up to yourselves with the promise of 2/3 australian rugby league matches per week (advertised by yourselves) to have had one match per week since i joined. YOUR AUTOMATED EMAIL SAID I WOULD GET A RESPONSE WITHIN 5 DAYS "THREE WEEKS LATER I'VE HEARD NOTHING" This is shoddy at best. I am contacting OFFCOM to see what they think. My next contact with you is cancellation.
I've just had my automated response that says we will contact you within 5 working days...
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..
Worry a little bit every day and in a lifetime you will lose a couple of years. If something is wrong, fix it if you can. But train yourself not to worry. Worry never fixes anything.

One likes people much better when they're battered down by a prodigious siege of misfortune than when they triumph.
Must be waiting for the football to finish although I still don't get why they don't show the Friday games now - because they are showing bugger all else.

i rang up to cancel last night, told em i was unhappy about the reduction on nrl, girl explained very nicely its due to contractual gubbins and various tv companies bidding/fighting for the rights to show(tried not to snort down the phone) gave me some BS about the magners league, politely declined any interest in that and then she offered me 3 months at half price, at which point i can ring and cancel if things aren't back to normal.
Granted, its not the best offer ever but i watch the UFC on occasion and although i was serious about cancelling, i was in two minds as its the lesnar v mir fight in july, but i couldn't justify full whack between now and then.
I can watch that then bin it.
Though the impression she gave me over the nrl games really didn't sound positive at all, there was no "it's changing back, i promise you" attempt at lying to me.

Thank you for your e-mail.
Due to programme scheduling, we have had to cut the live NRL games to one per week. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, we are hoping to rectify this to two plus games per week from May 2009.
Mark,Consider yourself lucky,I have e-mailed this mob twice, once last year when the same thing was happening (1 game per week)and a month ago,,no reply to either.Don*t like phoning because i*m likely to get the village idiot on the other end of the line but will wait with bated breath to see if they up the coverage, and if they don*t bye bye to them...

The top and bottom of it is that setanta have paid out that much money on Premier league/Fa Cup/ England matches that it is simply running out of cash.
It is refusing to honour its £125 million pound 4 year SPL deal unless they renegotiate.
This is putting a squeeze on NRL,BUNDESLIGA etc
