At the end of the day, Gleeson is a class player. I'm gutted that he's ended up at Wigan.

No... He was born here, supported the club growing up and he lives here as does his family.

There was no indication that Wigan was trying to sign a centre, let alone Martin Gleeson so how was he to know that Wigan was ever going to attempt to sign him? It took everybody by suprise, especially Martin himself.
