you spent a couple of days in each city and you can make that comment.
good one.
I spent nine months in Sydney - you obviously haven't read my earlier posts - and three months in Melbourne - so a bit more than a couple of days
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

It's funny because this is the same person that spent a few days in certain parts of England a declared that RL was bigger than football in West Yorkshrie, despite it clearly not being.

not in brisbane.
and there is no NRL team in perth
not in canberra either where the AFL gave up.
and sydney has 1 AFL team, RL has nine.
and what about auckland, gold coast, north queensland and wollongong

so you spent those whole 3 months studying the cultural diversity in melbourne then did you?
and you were allowed to spend a whole 9 months in sydney.

Ah the sure sign of the low IQ, falling back to stupid insults at the first chance.
I cant be bothered trawling through all of your dribble but here are a couple of occasions.
Regarding you liking Melbourne
Quote:probably cos i found it to be the least australian city i visited in australia Laughing
Quote:i went to manly & bondi with an open mind even though i was constantly told manly vexed all over bondi...
well i've got to disagree..i found manly to be dirty, lots of rubbish on the beach and 2 big dirty storm drains that run through the middle of the beach into the sea...shelley beach around the headland is miles better..and bondi wipes teh floor with manly imo..
Quote:newcastle is a poop hole just ask any england fan that went there to watch england v new zealand..
Quote:my take on australia
melbourne's great...kind of a cross between manchester & new york...having been to all 3 i can confirm i'm right Laughing, could live there..
townsville - 1 main street,a shopping centre at one end of it and pubs, clubs & takeaways, if it was'nt 36c i could have been in oldham Laughing
brisbane - like townsville...but bigger, if i'm honest i did'nt really like brisbane, though the 1500 people that arrive there every week would probably disagree ( i had a beer with a brisbane town planner while in townsville)
sydney - loved it,the CBD could have been awhere in the world, went out to manly & bondi..loved it and will live there one day
surfers paradise - benidorm-lite
Quote:ooppppssss...forgot newcastle, easily done cos it's a craphole
You have memory loss as well as a juvenile personality it seems.
I guess when you live in Oldham and have seen it all like yourself you feel like an authority on everywhere else.
I too have seen OLDHAM and not rushing to return there at this stage.

you know what I meant, every AFL team is drawing more (in some cases a heck of alot more) than the average NRL team. Only the Broncos and Titans come close to AFL teams attendances. If it was due to melbourne being boring then you wouldn't expect 40,000 to be turning up in Perth (or is it boring here as well?)
Your comment around 9 teams in Sydney and what about small cities is irrelevant. The discussion was on why 9 teams in Melbourne can attract 3 times as many fans as 9 teams in Sydney. Clearly "things to do" has nothing to do with it.
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
