Bringing in a "top drawer coach" may not be the right way to go for salford. someone like Mcdermott for instance might have won stuff - but I doubt his ability with a team of "lesser" players and without a wealth of resources at his disposal - look how leeds fared when their training facilities had to be reduced.
Salford would be better with a man motivator, someone like Chris Thorman, who can manage without amazing facilities and a massive backroom at their disposal, but be able to get the team up to win enough games to keep them from relegation and then build.

Anyway back on Salford Red Devils and something on their switch to Moor Lane, whilst Salford City FC look to move in at the AJ Bell at Barton.......

......I noted someone pointing out that the soccer club is currently struggling to compete in the EFL and their game at Moor Lane against Northampton Town this weekend, a club with history and over 100 years in the EFL, only attracted 2,000 fans...........Imagine the crowd if they'd played that at Barton.

Also the distance from the centre of the Manchester/Salford Conurbation to Moor Lane is only 4 miles..............Hope this is a great move for the RL club...
