The brass band and male voice choir were sat in the seats immediately behind once they'd done their bit so there weren't as many seats 'taken out' as I first thought when I saw the stage's position.

The IPL thing is probably cheered as a p1ss take more than owt else, but it comes why down the list in embarrassing tinpot-ness behind playing 'we will rock you' during passages of play!

I just hope we never play a game at Elland Road again. I'm anything but tall but the space in the seats was ridiculous and I was just so uncomfy and squashed in. Everytime someone wanted to get out for a pee or a pint we'd not only have to stand to let them out but then get squashed to make enough space for someone to get past. that or actually leave the row of seating ourselves. not sure if the stadium is like that all the way around as its a very "patchy" ground in the sense that parts have been added on over the years but it spoiled the occasion for me a bit as I spent half my time letting people in and out.

Yes, it would be rubbish if any aspect of international RL began to resemble wrestling wouldn't it?

Where you i nthe east stand by any chance? I have always found that to be a problem when I have been in that stand.
I went in John Charles stand last night and the leg room was a lot better

I was in the East Stand last night and was hoping the leg room would be much better than the North but if anything it was slightly worse. I was under the impression it was a new-ish stand but it seems it's a case of the seats just being bolted on to the old terracing.

Spending all that money on the elastic bands when most people either ignored them or flung them at people
