Frosties. wrote:Much agreed, the clash is still there between the kits, imo Wire should be wearing their away kit, as it would be the only one that doesnt clash, however, Mr Money told the RFL that nobody at the club likes the Wire away shirt so they want to wear their home.

We won the toss so why should we wear away??? Up to Leeds to have a right kit.

Simple solution, Skins vs Shirts.

Hopefully Leeds are in shirts, don't want to see Eastwood's gut everywhere.

Here are some thumbnail only pictures. Searching for these things on google makes you wonder if anyone bothered capturing and archiving these events.

It was actually amber, which fair enough is sort of yellowy. I think Saints won the toss for shirts and obviously wanted to use their home kit, whilst both the Bulls kits clashed a bit with it. The home one was mainly white with some red on it whilst the away was predominantly red. I think they coped at KR for the league match but someone decided, probably correctly, that it would be better if they changed for the cup match.

I think the strip was auctioned off for charity after the game and was never put on sale to the public, hence the lack of pictures.

you won the toss to be the home team. If there is a kit clash the ref can make you change jerseys as far as i know. Also i think you are supposed to travell with both kits anyway. maybe im wrong?

Looking at the colour clashes so far this season and the edicts from Red Hall it is OBVIOUS someone is colour blind!!!

and as for BLACK as an alternative for a very colourful kit well thats just being lazy!!!

That's assuming you don't believe the conspiracy theory that there wasn't a toss for the shirt choice.

There is the suggestion that the RFL have had a quiet word with Leeds, what with Warrington's booty backwards choice of second colours this season.

Not that I subscribe to such theories, you understand

I would have thought that Wire would have wanted to play in their away strip as it so much better than what can only be described as an amateurish attempt of a home strip. The shorts and shirts look a complete mis match

A week before the final I cant believe we are discussing a colour clash--it was obvious that this could happen before the semis took place and plans should have been put in place to sort it out.

Maybe Gary had a lot of Leeds away Kit to move in the shop? Makes good business sense

That might not be too far away from the truth!!!

They were selling like hotcakes last night and Gary and Kath had been up all night sewing commerative badges on them!!
