How come Wello could never get a rep game when Radlinski was fit?

I never saw Rads have a such a poor four consecutive games as the slug did in Australia last year.

No Radlinski had far more shockers, but still got picked.

As a leyther i quite like saints and dislike wigan but radlinski was far better than wellens is/was. Give it 5 years and Lomax will be better than both of them though. Quality youngster!

I find it quite sad that we are having a debate on whom was better between Radlinski, and Wellens. Both have been poor for GB/England. Wellens to be fair has had some OK games for England, but Rads always seemed out of his depth.

And Radlinski couldnt tackle a player who was walking.

What have comparisons between Wellens and Radlinski got to do with this appointment? Boring Saints Wigan nonsense.

If he's in there to instil a more professional approach than there are few better choices.

Not sure he's much of an inspiration though - is Richie Myler likely to think "wow it's Kris Radlinski!!"? I somehow doubt it.

It's a shame that there are only maybe three recent players with any sort of aura about them - Robinson, Farrell and Sculthorpe. The rest are just the average joes GB have been trotting out for far too long.
