How many overseas players have Hull got now?

They need to look at why they are so utterly rubbish and focus on their academy players a bit. Signing him 2 years ago would maybe have been worth it, but not now.

"They'd butt each other like a pair of billy goats and would both look like a mess at the end of the game. I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time

The last game we played against Cas we had 2 non English players on the field (Yak, Manu), the chances are Yak will be our only non English player tonight. But yes, you're right..

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

Bloody Aussies, he's crap, they only picked him in the final 24-man squad for the World Cup to give GB a chance... right?

Like he said.........

You've stolen my washing
From out my back garden
You've tarmacked my driveway
Even though I said no
You've nicked my lead flashing
And weighed it in at the scrappy
Oh St Helen's tatters
Come rob me again

Even as a Roosters fan and someone who admires the guy as a player, it's a poor signing IMO - he's not getting any better at this stage of his career.

I see him play every week. He is a good capt but he is now a plodder and hasn't made a break, a decent offload or a hard hit in 4 years. He gives his all and has a great attitude but he has one foot in the grave!
