Assumed we would have a WCC between Saints and Penrith, but reading on Saints board it ain't happening which is a shame.
Super League clubs at various stages of pre season but all now seem to have returned, less the overseas signings who are as far as i am aware, with a couple of exceptions, still to arrive. Trawling through the forums, both on here and the independent ones it appears that Warrington are the only club to date to have sorted a training camp, which as far as i can ascertain is a army type camp in the uninviting winter wilderness. Maybe its travel restrictions or perhaps lack of money within the game but warm weather training seems off the agenda this year, unless of course you are based in the sunnier realms of Perpignan or Toulouse. It was only a few seasons ago when most S.L. clubs had warm weather camp as a regular addition to their schedule. In fact didn't Wigan /St Helens undertake a Florida camp one season.
Good to see teams giving out squad numbers and choosing captains/ vice captains etc, it makes it seem the season is approaching even though in reality it is several weeks away. Any news on your teams friendly games and your teams strongest seventeen, injuries permitting.

Not sure about The Pies and Saints, but I'm pretty sure The Loiners had a pre season in Jacksonville maybe at some point?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
