In an effort to get the 2009 season underway the Axemen are allowing their fans and supporters a chance to by season tickets and membership at reduced rates given that exact dates of home games have not been finalized. With the local packs being offered at $45 and $20 (both with shirts) and a confirmed 6 events, you can attend games for as little as $3.50 and still enjoy $1 beers. They have even offered a way for International and remote fans to support the team with a new supporter pack.
An Axemen spokesperson said it is a pretty simple idea, "This is the time of year that we have a lot of preseason operating costs. We have a pretty good idea about training camp, scrimmages and pre-season games, but we do not have the exact dates of all our regular season home games at this stage. If our fans are willing to support us with buying tickets this early then we feel it is only fair to reward them with discounted rates."
