those comparisons dont do like for like. theyve had some poorer teams as home games, when they get the broncos or other popular clubs it will rise again.

wallace will be the nsw 7.

the broncos have been showing signs of poor form in recent weeks, esepcially losing to manly at home. origin will decimate them and with an unproven coach it wouldnt surprise me to see them drop from top 4 to fringe of the top 8

in past year the broncos have always struggled around origin.

for 3 or 4 years straight they would be a top team leading into origin then sink during and after.

the storm and dragons are other clubs who will feel an impact on origin, though dragons less than storm or broncos

The coach has seen how Bennett has handled the time around origin so he should be equiped to deal with it - how he deals with is another matter.

Manley game was following the test match and IIRC they didn't play Lockyear or Hodges and they were 18-0 and cruising - not dissimilar to the defeat against the Dragons - however the same cannot be said for the game at Newcastle where they were completely out played.

It will be interesting see how Smith handles the Knights - traditionally he has never managed to handle the pressure of the play offs

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

In 2005, both the Tigers and Dragons were flying high post-Origin. If we're to break 2005's record, it needs to be the Sydney teams to lift again. We're on the right track with Tigers, Dragons both looking up again, as well as the Bulldogs and Souths. If form keeps up, we'll see success in the stands. And if the Eels can pull their finger out for once, they have a massive fan base to draw upon.

Sydney is key.

lets see how origin hits the broncos and storm.

on the knights, if they do finish top 4 i dont think anyone from newcastle will complain if they dont do much after that

to lose johns and buderus and then make top 4 is simply brilliant

maybe smith has learnt from past mistakes.

hes looking like coach of the year

In the past the Broncos have provided a big quamtity of players for Qld not sure this season it will be as many especially if Wallace doesn't get selected for NSW

Bad weather and smaller teams visiting have been the main reasons...
