I know its journalists opinion but i think hes got a point. The artical in the telegraph claims that saturday night time slots are killing the sharks crowds and thus the club. Matty Johns also made a comment about this on the footy show a fortnight ago, about how the fans had come out in force for saturday afternoon games on ANZAC day.
There is an obvious difference in day and night crowds at practically every team in sydney and beyond, so does the NRL need look at making night games the exception every week rather than the rule when the TV deals are up for negotiation. Secondly, will the broadcasters even listen to them if they want it?
A way to give every team more afternoon kickoffs is to simply have more teams in the comp, so roll on the expansion.
I actually noticed the Sharks had harsh kickoff times in every game and posted about it in the NRL crowds topic a few weeks ago. looks like the telegraph stole my story! lol

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
