Eagles won 18-12, with a converted try a minute from the end. Sounded like a good game, with the lead changing hands several times. Just short of 2000 in attendance, which is encouraging.
When you are on the field with the team and you see players with tears in their eyes because they should have won it makes you realise that the lads want to be up there with the best in the Championship. Slowly but surely they are making it, and it may take some time, but we are beginning to get there.
