The lease on Odsal Stadium has been put up for sale by the RFL. How will this affect us i'm not sure but it is an interesting move. Any thoughts?

The club seem pretty confident that we won't have any issues playing our home games next year.

Screw us over again and again 'protecting professional RL in Bradford'. Guess it's IMG related. Anyone fancy a whip round?

IMG related? In what way? I'd say it's more likely the governing body are a bit strapped for cash and selling off some assets.

I’ve seen the Club statement on this but does anyone have a link to the initial rfl statement asking for “expressions of interest “ in the sale?

If there’s any way our illustrious leader can get the £750k together, with the board and/or new investor, we need to do it. Get the Odsal relationship back to 2 - the council & the club. Takes out all the rfl governance issues

Well, does anyone remember back in the glory days when threads like this would instantly have 20+ pages? Back then, there were a fair few regular posters who reckoned that the whole thing about the RFL buying the lease was all a long-term plot for Nigel Wood to eventually get hold of the Odsal lease at a knockdown price. Perhaps we are now entering the end game **places fingers together conspiratorially** Maybe now we'll get the reasons for the lease sale, the constant insertion of useless owners who then went bust, and all that crap from the last decade...

I'd be surprised if anyone has £750k lying around that they think would be well spent on a leasehold of Odsal.
