In 1988, while living in Shipley, I decided to write a novel based on my having been a rugby league fan since 1947 and having worked most of my life as an electrical draughtsman (locally at Allied Colloids, Crosrol in Halifax and National Grid in Leeds).
Since then, I have written six novels, have just started work on number seven and am still enjoying doing it. Quite a few people who I have talked to about my 'hobby' or who have read any of my novels have told me that they would like to do the same but would just not know how to.
Others have told me that they have older relatives and neighbours who could tell many a good tale about their life and times but how?
Good news for them all because I have now written three pages of advice on how anyone can try it. If you would like to read these pages or just pass them on to someone that you know, then E Mail me at
wgeofflee@gmail.com and I'll send them to you.
Just include the note that you read this on this Bradford web site.
