Speaking as someone who has in the past been critical of the way the club is being run on a day to day basis I feel it only right to give some positive feedback. In fact, back in the early 1990's, having been unable to use a credit card to purchase a shirt in the club shop, I was so annoyed by Chris Caisley complaining in the T&A about fans not backing the club that I wrote a letter which was published pointing out that we were in the Dark Ages compared to Leeds. Bizarrely, I was then contacted by Leeds offering me free tickets (which I politely declined), and then, by a Northern Director who was very patronising until he found out I was working as a physio for Halifax at the time. He ended up offering me the job of A team physio which I subsequently did for a few years. Anyway, having been underwhelmed by much of the Bulls merchandise on offer in recent seasons I was tempted back into the club shop yesterday to look at the new range which I had seen on-line. I must say it's by far the best gear on offer in years, and told the staff in there my opinion. The (volunteer) lady who served me was most helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere around the shop and office seemed more welcoming and upbeat than it has in the past. All in all a very positive experience and hopefully a sign that we are becoming a far more professionally run outfit again than in recent years.

I went into the shop at the Widnes game and I agree the quality of some of the coats etc looked good. I did however walk out empty handed as I went in to buy a couple of hats for me and the lad but they had none and they had limited sizes in the coats.
I've since seen online that they have had further deliveries so perhaps it was just unfortunate timing.
