What that shirt needs is some more sponsors on the sleeves.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the original from 96/97 so I’m not really fussed about this one. Nice work by the club to celebrate the 25th anniversary of us winning Super League. Not really my bag but I can see it’ll be popular with many fans.

1st kit launch I've been to, had good memories of 97, shirt bought along with a season ticket for me and my old fella, can't wait for the new season

Sponsors do kill the effect of the sleeves a bit, but the shirt front is super clean.
The promotional video was also really well done.

The promo vid wasnt well done on the night. Built it up for an hour and half then played the vid but it had no sound so the big moment fell completely flat on its rear end.

Complete utter balls up. Hopefully someone got a bollocking for it.

Well I like the shirt.

The crucial difference between the Original and this new one is that the original had a proper collar. For me, the round collar tips it over into being something I wouldn't wear. It looks a lot more like leisure wear to me than a playing shirt.

stirs memories ... 96 cup final an absolute monster classic (and if anybody had bothered to look, goulding bombs WERE offside but no video ref then so be it. (just a quick add, im sure many bought or saw the 101 greatest tries and a goal vid, des drumond dives in the corner but loses the ball miles from touching down (again no vid ref))) ... then we have the crowning, the bulls invasion of don valley ... 2 days i will remember most as my leg was in plaster, don valley of course then 1999 anther plastered leg for THE bulls rhinos game

Me too. I don’t quite get the pro or anti emoticons these things stir up, but that’s how it goes it seems. Anyway, it looks good and I’ll probably buy one.
Assuming I can find one to fit!
