It's rumoured that Ottawa Aces will be playing in league 1 next year and will be playing their home games at Odsal Stadium. How do we all feel about this? Personally I have no problem with this and the more contributing to the upkeep of the ground the better.

If they play all games in the UK then what's the point? I don't understand the concept.

I accept this then asks the next question, is there a market for it but that question was appropriate before Covid when they applied

I was open-minded about Toronto and whilst they existed Ottawa seemed like a logical next step. Without Toronto, Ottawa seems beyond pointless.

IF true, and it makes sense with the Nigel Wood / Eric Perez link - then there could be a 'method in the madness' with some sort of 'dual reg' arrangement whereby our fringe players could play games for 'Ottawa' (and I use that term loosely)

It could be a way of Race, Jowitt, O'Hanlon, Ho et al getting some game time

But I'll believe it when I see it
