2020 BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES RELEASED
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE FULL FIXTURE LIST FOR THE 2020 BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON - WITH GOLDEN POINT BEING INTRODUCED NEXT TERM ADDING A FURTHER TWIST!
John Kear’s side host newly-relegated London Broncos in Round One of the regular season at the Tetley’s Stadium before a mouth-watering trip to tackle York City Knights at the newly-built York Community Stadium.
Other notable fixtures include Halifax RLFC on Good Friday (April 10th), while the ‘away fixture against Dewsbury Rams will be held at a neutral venue, to be confirmed in due course.
Golden Point will be introduced to the Betfred Championship for the first time, in the result of a draw - both teams will receive one Championship point but have the opportunity to win a second match point!
Two 5-minute extra time spells will take place, with the team who is first to score a point receiving the second point for the win.
