so with TWP all but nailed on for promotion and one super duper league team coming down, i see next year even more exciting. Leigh look like they are building, widnes will be on nil points (as of season start) hopefully we will strengthen with our young base becoming more mature (prays to gods of no admin as rumors are abound) ... good rivalry between us and York emerging and a fantastic side they have to boot, fev hopefully can get a side sorted not a Leeds A team, Fax will always be strong and although Sheffield has fallen away somewhat, will always pose questions and Toulouse (without their hordes of fans) will be there or there abouts. Championship rugby next year will be a belter. If we can improve on this year i can only see crowds going up. It has seemed by some to be a let down this year but if everything is quiet off the field then after the sh.it we've been through, this year has to be a success. 10k CC knock out against our nearest and dearest, knocking on the top 5 door. Whatever happens in the next 5 last games, bring on next year, it will be a corker

f me ... trying to derail a thread when im not actually focusing on us but was looking at the championship as a whole. last paragraph (if i actually assigned one) reads .. Championship rugby next year will be a belter. If we can improve on this year i can only see crowds going up. It has seemed by some to be a let down this year but if everything is quiet off the field then after the sh.it we've been through, this year has to be a success. 10k CC knock out against our nearest and dearest, knocking on the top 5 door. bold all referring to the championship ... the rest, presuming we build and not go tits up, we may be in the mix

please do pull me up on English as ive been away for a while but in the wise words of

I think this season has been reasonably good and about what we expected and mostly hoped for. I do think we need some more real quality in there along with continuing to bring through our own young lads which is great to see.
I am now going to throw in some questions and that is all it is and not to be provocative.
Will / should next year be John Kears final season as I think it is his 3rd one of his contract?Do you think Chalmers will be thinking about this now and what do you think he will do?

I think Kear was and is the perfect person who took over but I have to admit I greatly admire the likes of Ford at York. Not everyone is a fan of Kear and his style of play but he is vastly experienced and we were very fortunate to get him.
