Just seen a post on the Wigan forum that a ist of players have been leaked who haven't been offered deals. Brown is one of them think it would be a great show of intent if the club went for him. Adding to the Bradford academy lads we already have in the first team. What do people think?

I'd take him. Seems to be playing well at Skolars on loan. Kear may want a more experienced FB with Pickersgill/Stephenson as understudy

He was one of those we lost when we went into administration. Haven't seen much of him but wasn't he the England Full Back in his age group?

Is he no longer playing with the Bruvvers?

Unless he is exceptional - and being released by Wigan says that he isn't - then I'd say 'no'

We already have PIckersgill and Stephenson in the category of 'might make a long term full back', I don't see why we need a third guy in pretty much that same category.

I wasn't thinking of him as a full back. All hs days with us and internationally were at centre if im right. A position we look quite tight in and also given players out of contract may see us lighter still come seasons end. Played centre for skolars and scored a cracking try last week wih good feet. seems to have good size too.

Sorry should have mentioned I was seeing a centre in opening post.

Great news if true. He's young, home grown and will provide decent competition/cover in the backs.
