So I have just seen Sheffield won't be dual reg with St Helens and York won't be with Hull KR.

So does anyone know if any dual reg has been confirmed? Leeds - Fev?

Leeds/Feb is confirmed.

Saints have offered anybody not on first team duty any given week. Probably use that to the full against the top teams but less so against the rest to top up the 18 pros and 3 recent amateurs we have in the squad

I wonder if he regrets going there now? As far as I'm aware, he hasn't played a single competitive game for St Helens yet, and spent most of last year in a Sheffield team that as getting battered most week.

Surely he's going to be playing at least sometimes in their first team this year? Otherwise they'll probably end up letting him go elsewhere at the end of the year...

Played 3 SL games at the back end of last season for them. Started 2 of those 3.

That said, looking at Saints back row options, I can't see him getting much more of a sniff this year, so every chance he'll be a regular for Leigh. I think we forget that Bentley is still young though, so still has plenty of chance to break in to the Saints first team. He only got regular game time at Odsal because we were so stuck for players at the time and he shone in a cobbled together squad. I'm sure the Bulls wouldn't have been giving him quite so much game time either if it hadn't all gone so tits up.
Worked out well for him obviously, but I don't think him not getting his SL chance yet means he's made a mistake or that he won't get it in a year or two.

Would have been better staying, in a winning culture, playing regularly. Only benefits he's probably had is a pay rise and more intense/better training.

If he does get released I'd have him back. Be a great back 3 in the pack if we could go with Bentley, Storton and Minchella.
