Well, Sky Bet has their odds up for next year's Championship Grand Final Winners

Toronto - 6/4
Widnes - 5/2
Toulouse - 6/1
Bradford - 8/1
Featherstone - 12/1
Halifax - 16/1
York - 20/1
Leigh - 25/1
Barrow - 100/1
Batley - 100/1
Dewsbury - 100/1
Sheffield - 100/1
Rochdale - 250/1
Swinton - 250/1

I'd say those are good odds for a team that's just been promoted. Especially when you consider it was via the play-offs and the champions of the division we left are at 25/1

Ridiculous odds.

Can't believe Toronto are as high as 6/4. Thought they'd be odds on.

I realised the odds were daft when I saw Leigh at 25-1

Very good odds for us at Leigh that, some decent signings seem to be on the way - with a further push at the business end of the season

Way over the top imo. I feel we'll do ok but the 20 or 25 to 1 odds, very middling, would have been more realistic. 'Course, the bookies are never wrong.....

On social media and on here. Leigh fans are saying the budget is 300k for next year. To compare that's less than what Bulls paid for a League 1 team.

I don't bet and don't really understand how they come up with odds, but I assume this is roughly how they see the table panning out?
Would love it if they are right about the Bulls, but 4th place seems a tad over optimistic for a newly promoted side. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% behind us and I'm sure we'll be fine, but trying to be realistic as well.
Fax did really well to finish top 4 last year and have strengthened on top of that, and Yorks odds don't look right at all. I'm sure they'll go well.
Good to hear Leigh have plans to recruit after all the recent negative stuff about them.

Well those are the odds for winning the Championship Grand Final.

Fax did well getting a top 4 spot, however Leigh's implosion helped with that. Also, if you look at the Championship table over the passed few years, you'll see that a lot of clubs will finish almost in the same position year on year. It's only clubs that haven't been in the Championship for a long time that seem to be the wild card with regards to where clubs finish.

The team that Bradford have put together are capable of making the top 4 in 2019. If you look at the league, it hasn't really moved on since we were relegated in 2017 and we managed to get 6 wins with a bunch of kids and some loans.

Leigh is a bit of an enigma at the moment, as if they can get their off-field issues sorted and actually get a team together it'll be interesting to see what sort of team they can put together at this stage.
Widnes, you'd think, should be along with Toronto, actually be contesting the GF given that these two are the teams with the best funding in the league. But both are under new coaches and you have to wonder if that's enough to clear out the malaise that they suffered through this year and if Brian Mac can get Toronto to get over their choking at the end of last year.
Toulouse seem to blow hot and cold. They can look like they're going to be a force then without warning the wheels fall off.
York, although they're coming up as Champions and they showed that their team was too good for L1, you have to wonder how well those player will step up to the next division and if HKR will have enough players to help fill out their team next year.
