Reading about Matt Calland got me thinking about two of the best moments I've had as a Bulls fan.
His try against Leeds in the semi in 1996, brushing off Kevin Iro to put us 10-nil up
His try in the closing minutes at Central Park in 1997 - my brother and I ended up twenty steps down from where we started after he scored that one.
Other ones I can think of off the top of my head are
Being on holiday and hearing we'd beaten Hull KR to stay up.
Gerald Cordle sticking out an arm for Mark Preston to take in the gut, spin 180 degrees vertically and land in a heap at his feet.
Roy Powell's try at VP
Singing 'Going down' at Ellery, Schofield et al after that game finished.
Ringing my Fax supporting mate after the comeback at Thrum Hall (he and some other lads had come found me at half time to take the mick), only to be told by his mum that he'd come in and gone straight to bed - at a quarter to eight.
Plenty more where that came from, but it's a start.
Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.

Was too late leaving work to get there. But I rang up and upgraded Sky to include Sky Sports 20 mins before that match kicked off.
I was quite pleased I had!
Had Eddie's commentary as a homemade ringtone for a while, got it pretty much memorised...
Quote:Paul... into the arms of Tomlinson... Tomlinson to Loughlin, Loughlin out wide, Calland... Calland gets the try! Incredible! Bradford Bulls don't know when they're dead.

I don't really know the old ones..
Mick Withers drop goal against Leeds 1999 record crowd one wasn't it?
His drop goal against Hull - that game for some reason always sticks in my mind.
Nathan McAvoys try in the CC final
The 96 - 16 game against salford was just one that was a weird game.
p.s. the game against leeds is nearly 8 years since that record crowd one

We were awful but still well in front, 14 points up with twelve minutes left.
They came back with three tries.
Crowther missed the touchline conversion to win it.
We went up the field and Withers dropped the goal into the travelling support with less than a minute on the clock.
I think it was the instant switch from 'How have we thrown this away?' to 'Bloody hell, we've won' that you don't often get.

I just remember the tenseness and then seeing the goal go over and then realising that it was withers.
