List of players I would have and why:

Karmichael Hunt: Quality player, must still only be 22-23 (?), solid defence, plenty of pace.

Lockyer: Amazing player (31 I believe though), could play at Stand-off or FB (although don't think he's played FB for a while.

Dave Taylor: Only 20, massive potential.

El Mazri: Always been a good player but maybe a bit past it.

Matt Utai: Quality player, twice as good as Tadulala or Sheriffe

Heath L'Estrange: Nicknamed Beefy Heathy. Big, strong solid player. I'd have him over Newton.

Matt Orford: Look at his performance in the WCC and i need say no more.

Jerome Ropati: Good solid player. Can play at FB, stand-off or at Centre.

Michael Witt: Really good player. Great in-game kicking.

Moi Moi: Quality player, for more reasons look back through the pages of MoiMoi talk

Taulima Tautai: Only 20, HUGE potential, great young centre. (can he also play on wing?)

Craig Fitzgibbon: Bit old but has proved himself to be a legendary player. Love to have a player of his calibre at the club.

Anthony Minichiello: If Macca managed to sign him, I would have no problems with him anymore. Absolutely amazing player.

Iosia Soliola: Great centre, only young. Not the prettiest of fellows

Some of the others I haven't seen much of, but they'd probably do well in a Bulls shirt.

2nd Row.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

i would say a goal kicking half back should be quite high on the priority list.

Darren Lockyer?

I would say a goal kicking ENGLISH half back should be quite high on the priority list.

Threads like this annoy me because its all NRL out of contracts.....Shouldn't we be making lists off whose out of contract at the end of 2009 like:

Andy Lynch
Lee Smith
Keiron Cunningham
Matt Cook
Dave Halley

All Home Grown talent??

Me too. Get shut of Newton and bring Hendo in as starting hooker with Godwin as his interchange.

I'd also definitely be trying to get Lee Smith if he doesn't want silly money.
