Quote:Meanwhile, Rhinos' Challenge Cup heroes of a decade ago are reuniting to celebrate their Wembley glory.
A reunion dinner will be held at Headingley Carnegie next month to mark the 10th anniversary of Rhinos' record-breaking 52-16 win over London Broncos in the last final staged at the old Wembley.
The whole of the cup-winning squad have agreed to attend, including Australian trio Marc Glanville, Brad Godden and Jamie Mathiou, Tongan prop Martin Masella and Kiwi centre Richie Blackmore, along with coach Graham Murray.
One thing I've noticed in Aus is that any excuse to draw attention to the more glorious aspects of any club's history is not spurned. 90th, 10th, 100th, whatever. We've now allowed the 75th anniversary of the 7-5 victory over Australia , the 50th anniversary of Wembley and back three times go and the 25th anniversary of back-to-back titles all go past without a mention. It would be great to see us get on the ball like this. Just a stencil under the badge on the shirts perhaps.
